Jessica Thomas is a freelance makeup artist based in the Cleveland Ohio area. For Jessica, makeup artistry is not only a way to creatively express her ideas through art but also a way to connect with others, educate, and inspire.

 

Jessica learned the fundamentals of makeup artistry after enrolling in a pro makeup artistry course from NinaMua Academy in New York City and the advanced pro artistry courses from April Love Pro Academy in L.A.  In addition to these intensive courses, Jessica also obtained her airbrush makeup certification from QC makeup academy. Since her start in the industry, Jessica has also studied makeup artistry under celebrity makeup artists such as Sir John, Tiyanna Robinson, Viola Nicholson, Renny Vasquez, Ana Acevedo, Nikki Wolfe, Jacen Bowman, and Ibmatu "Tei" Soumah.

Currently, Jessica is a freelance makeup artist and session hair stylist, working within the runway, film, tv, and editorial spaces of the industry as well as a beauty consultant with brands assisting them in expanding their shade ranges and product selections to cater to people of color.
